DSCA Announces Recruitment for Pathways Intern Program

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency has opened recruitment for Cohort 2 of the Pathways Intern Program. Designed for undergraduate and graduate students, the program recruits individuals to support the agency's mission of building partner capacity and delivering integrated capabilities at speed and scale to U.S. allies and partners.

The internship program serves as a strategic initiative to cultivate future talent pipelines of defense and security cooperation professionals. By integrating students into a dynamic international environment, DSCA ensures that future personnel gain hands-on experience and contribute meaningfully to global security objectives. The program fosters professional development, equipping interns with the necessary skills to navigate complex defense initiatives and pursue long-term career paths in public service.

Five Student Trainee (Management and Program Analyst) positions are currently available at DSCA, with four positions located at DSCA Headquarters in Arlington, Virginia and one position located in Dayton, OH. Operating at the GS-4, GS-5, and GS-7 grade levels, the roles require candidates to maintain part-time availability during the academic year and full-time availability during the summer. Eligible applicants must be current students with a minimum of one year remaining in their studies prior to graduation, aligning with a target start date of January 2027.
