DEFENSE SECURITY COOPERATION SERVICE

The Defense Security Cooperation Service (DSCS) manages all support function for over 130 Security Cooperation Organizations located at U.S. diplomatic mission abroad.  The DSCS consist of a Headquarters in the National Capital Region, Forward support elements at five of the geographic combatant commands, and SCO personnel at U.S. embassies.  The Service provides a full range of support functions to ensure SCOs are appropriately staffed with professionally trained military, civilian and foreign national experts.
