U.S. Ambassador-in-Residence Will Bring Diplomatic Experience, Perspective to Marshall Center Team

GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN, Germany — GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN, Germany (Jan. 14, 2022) – The U.S. State Department’s Ambassador Eric Nelson will be appointed as an Associate Director of the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany in early 2022.  As an Ambassador-in-Residence, Nelson will contribute a Department of State perspective to the Marshall Center’s mission to Educate, Engage and Empower security partners and leaders to collectively affect regional, transnational, and global challenges.
