The report highlights key financial information and includes the SAA’s audit report.  It also provides an overview of the mission, structure, goals, and operations of the SAA. It promotes transparency by providing the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the U.S. Office of Management and Budget, the Congress, and the general public a view into SAA financial statements, business processes, and results of the audit.

NCOs Key to Ukrainian Military Successes Against Russia 

Since 2014, the United States has sent Ukraine more than $32.4 billion in security assistance, and while the transfer of equipment is important in Ukraine's defense, the training aspect of this aid may have longer term implications. These military capabilities — including Javelins, tanks, air defense systems and more — have been crucial, but Ukraine's investment in developing a noncommissioned officer corps may be the key to victory against the Russian invader.

Ukraine, Asia Drove 50% Increase in FY22 Arms Sales

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency last year saw a substantial increase in the arms sales it administers, including arms purchased directly by partner nations with their own funds and sales funded through the Foreign Military Financing program. Total arms sales in fiscal year 2022, about $52 billion worth, exceeded FY21's $34.81 billion in sales by nearly 50%.
