DSCA Director Announces Transition from Federal Service

DSCA

Ms. Heidi Grant, Director of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) has announced her transition from the federal government following 32 years of dedicated service in the Navy, Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, and two Combatant Commands. From base level to headquarters, in the United States and overseas, and with 19 years in the Senior Executive Service, Director Grant has served her country with distinction.

We thank her for her service!

Director Grant had been considering this transition for some time and believed the moment was right after successfully leading DSCA to its full operational capability phase of organizational transformation on October 1, 15 months after becoming the first permanent DoD civilian to lead DSCA in its 50-year history. DSCA’s new organizational model will enable DSCA to operate more efficiently and continuously meet the emerging needs of its stakeholders in service of U.S. and partner national security objectives.

Effective November 7, DSCA Deputy Director Mr. Jed Royal will assume duties as Acting DSCA Director.
