Qatar- RIM-116C and RIM-116C-2 Rolling Airframe Missiles

WASHINGTON, Apr. 22, 2016 - The State Department has made a determination approving a possible Foreign Military Sale to Qatar for RIM-116C and RIM-116C-2 Rolling Airframe Missiles and associated equipment, training, and support. The estimated cost is $260 million. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale on April 21, 2016.

WASHINGTON, July 14, 2014 — Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel today hosted Qatar's Minister of State for Defense Affairs Hamad bin Ali al-Attiyah at the Pentagon to sign letters of offer and acceptance for Apache helicopters and Patriot and Javelin defense systems valued at $11 billion.

"Today's signing ceremony underscores the strong partnership between the United States and Qatar in the area of security and defense and will help improve our bilateral cooperation across a range of military operations," Pentagon Press Secretary Navy Rear Adm. John Kirby said in a statement.

WASHINGTON, March 28, 2013 – The Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress March 26 of a possible Foreign Military Sale to Qatar for 500 Javelin Guided Missiles and associated equipment, parts, training and logistical support for an estimated cost of $122 million.
