Humanitarian Mine Action increases demining capacity in Morocco

KENITRA, Morocco – U.S. Marines and Sailors with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Africa 19.2, Marine Forces Europe and Africa, participated in Humanitarian Mine Action with members of the Moroccan Royal Armed Forces April 1-26, 2019, at Unite de Secours et Sauvetage’s Base, Kenitra, Morocco.

Morocco – F-16 Block 52+ Upgrade to F-16V Configuration

­­­WASHINGTON, March 25, 2019 - The State Department has made a determination approving a possible Foreign Military Sale to Morocco to upgrade its existing twenty-three F‑16 aircraft to the F‑16V configuration and related equipment for an estimated cost of $985.2 million.  The Defense Security Cooperation Agency delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale om March 22, 2019.

Morocco – Abrams Tank Enhancement, Support, and Equipment

­­­WASHINGTON, November 29, 2018 - The State Department has made a determination approving a possible Foreign Military Sale to Morocco of enhancements to one hundred sixty-two (162) Abrams tanks for an estimated cost of $1.259 billion.  The Defense Security Cooperation Agency delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale on November 28, 2018.

Morocco - TOW 2A, Radio Frequency (RF) Missiles (BGM-71E-4B-RF), M220A2 TOW Launchers, Support and Training

WASHINGTON, Nov 18, 2015 - The State Department has made a determination approving a possible Foreign Military Sale to Morocco for TOW 2A, Radio Frequency (RF) Missiles (BGM-71E-4B-RF), M220A2 TOW Launchers and associated equipment, parts, training and logistical support for an estimated cost of $157 million. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale on November 17, 2015.
