Greece – CH-47D Chinook Helicopters

WASHINGTON, Dec 11, 2014 - The State Department has made a determination approving a possible Foreign Military Sale to Greece for CH-47D Chinook helicopters and associated equipment, parts and logistical support for an estimated cost of $150 million. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale today. 

Greece – F-16 Sustainment

WASHINGTON, Nov 18, 2014 - The State Department has made a determination approving a possible Foreign Military Sale to Greece for F-16 sustainment and associated equipment, parts and logistical support for an estimated cost of $188 million. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale on Nov 17.

Greece – P-3B Aircraft Overhaul and Upgrade

WASHINGTON, Oct 7, 2014 - The State Department has made a determination approving a possible Foreign Military Sale to Greece for P-3B aircraft overhaul and upgrade as well as associated equipment, parts, training and logistical support for an estimated cost of $500 million. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale on October 6, 2014.

Hagel Meets With Greece’s Defense Minister at Pentagon

WASHINGTON, July 31, 2013 – Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel welcomed Greek Defense Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos to the Pentagon yesterday, Pentagon Press Secretary George Little said.

"Secretary Hagel thanked Minister Avramopoulos for Greece's continued hosting of U.S. forces at Naval Support Activity at Souda Bay,” Little said in a statement summarizing the meeting. “Souda Bay is a key enabler of U.S. strategic objectives in the region, the importance of which became apparent during Operation Unified Protector in Libya.”

Greece – Spare Parts and Services for F-16 Aircraft

WASHINGTON, April 29, 2011 – The Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress Monday of a possible Foreign Military Sale to the Government of Greece of spare parts and services for its F-16 aircraft, as well as associated equipment, parts, training and logistical support for an estimated cost of $100 million.

Greece – Cooperative Logistics Supply Support Agreement Foreign Military Sale Order II Support

WASHINGTON, March 29, 2011 – The Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress today of a possible Foreign Military Sale Order to the Government of Greece to provide funds for blanket order requisitions FMSO II, under the Cooperative Logistics Supply Support Agreement (CLSSA) for spare parts in support of Hellenic Air Force aircraft. The estimated cost is $160 million.

Greece - Enhanced PAVEWAY II Kits and Sustainment Support for F-16 Aircraft

WASHINGTON, September 29, 2008 ­ On September 26, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress of a possible Foreign Military Sale to Greece of Enhanced PAVEWAY II Kits and Sustainment Support for F-16 Aircraft as well as associated equipment and services. The total value, if all options are exercised, could be as high as $133 million.
