Canada – AEGIS Combat System

WASHINGTON, May 10, 2021 - The State Department has made a determination approving a possible Foreign Military Sale to the Government of Canada of AEGIS Combat System and related equipment for an estimated cost of $1.7 billion.  The Defense Security Cooperation Agency delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale today.

Canada – C-17 Sustainment

WASHINGTON, December 1, 2020 - The State Department has made a determination approving a possible Foreign Military Sale to the Government of Canada of C-17 Sustainment and related equipment for an estimated cost of $275 million.  The Defense Security Cooperation Agency delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale today.

Canada – Standard Missile 2 (SM-2) Block IIIC Missiles

WASHINGTON, November 5, 2020 - The State Department has made a determination approving a possible Foreign Military Sale to the Government of Canada of Standard Missile 2 (SM-2) Block IIIC missiles and related equipment for an estimated cost of $500 million. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale today.

Canada – Hornet Extension Program Related FMS Acquisitions

­­­WASHINGTON, June 16, 2020 - The State Department has made a determination approving a possible Foreign Military Sale to the Government of Canada of fifty (50) Sidewinder AIM-9X Block II Tactical missiles and related equipment for an estimated cost of $862.3 million.  The Defense Security Cooperation Agency delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale on June 15, 2020.

Canada – Multifunctional Information Distribution System - Joint Tactical Radio System (MIDS-JTRS)

WASHINGTON, July 30, 2019 - The State Department has made a determination approving a possible Foreign Military Sale to Canada of one hundred fifty-two (152) MIDS-JTRS (5) with support for an estimated cost of $44 million.  The Defense Security Cooperation Agency delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale on July 29, 2019.
