Defense Institute of International Legal Studies (DIILS)

Purpose:

The Defense Institute of International Legal Studies (DIILS) is the lead DoD security cooperation resource for global legal engagement and capacity-building with international defense sector officials. DIILS conducts resident courses and mobile programs in support of title 10 and title 22 programs, such as Expanded International Military Education and Training and Defense Institution Building. DIILS also conducts the human rights training required by Section 333 of title 10.

DIILS programs funded by both Title 10 and Title 22 appropriations.
