Ms. Jackie Leonard currently serves as the Acting Assistant Director overseeing the Directorate for Business Operations. In this capacity, she is responsible for oversight of DSCA’s financial, acquisition, information technology, security, and facility operations for the Agency to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services and support.

Ms. Leonard is also the Deputy Assistant Director, Comptroller of the DSCA. She assumed this position in January 2018, formerly serving as the Deputy Comptroller, budget and policy analyst for DSCA-managed programs, and Executive Assistant to the Deputy Director. In addition, Ms. Leonard serves as the DSCA Functional Community Manager for approximately 100 civilians in the DoD financial management workforce.

Prior to joining DSCA in March 2011, Ms. Leonard began her career as a Palace Acquire Intern in 2001, serving over 10 years with the Department of the Air Force performing budget and financial management, decision support, and acquisition functions. In 2008, Ms. Leonard relocated to the Virginia area where she served as a senior budget analyst with the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force, Financial Management and Comptroller, Pentagon.

Ms. Leonard earned a Bachelors in Finance from Park University and Masters of Business Administration from the University of La Verne. She is certified in the DoD Financial Management Certification Program at Level 3 and a Certified Defense Financial Manager with the American Society of Military Comptrollers.
