In this role, he provides leadership and oversight for DSCU’s internal and external functions and integrates the University's mission sets through academic rigor, innovation, and increased efficiencies across DSCU's suborganizations and legislatively mandated missions. DSCU’s mission is to advance the knowledge and practice of Security Cooperation through education, training, workforce development, advising, research, analysis, and lessons learned.

Brian Watford

Brian Watford joined DSCA as the Assistant Director (AD) for Administration in December 2024. In this role, he leads the agency’s overall human resources, and performance improvement, and effectiveness functions, which are operationalized through three distinct organizational directorates: Performance Improvement and Effectiveness (PIE), Talent Management (TM), and Human Capital Strategy & Organizational Development (HCS&OD). In this role, Brian is also the principal advisor to the agency’s Director and Deputy Director on all matters pertaining to the agency’s human resources and organizational performance initiatives.
