DSCA Releases New Plan To Battle Increasing Global Competition

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency released its Vision 2020 plan Oct. 1 to battle increased competition in what DSCA Director Vice Adm. Joseph Rixey called a new "global norm." The plan sets out numerous timelines to keep DSCA as the "provider of choice" to its international customers and enable more responsive industry participation in security cooperation. "We must evolve at DSCA," Rixey said at a Sept. 18 event in Washington. According to Rixey, the Vision 2020 plan will reduce the cost of doing business with DSCA.
